"Finding the talent to capture your wedding, the biggest day of your life, seems like a daunting task. You not only want to find a group of people who are talented, artistic, and go with the flow, but you want to work with people who are genuinely fun.
Working with the Yeah! Wedding team was anything but ordinary. Their positive attitudes and extremely laid-back style were a breath of fresh air in what could normally be a very stressful day (I told our photographer I wanted to borrow his Hawaiian print shirt off his back for the afterparty).
The energy between them was contagious; it seemed they had been working together for years and years. Booking the talent as a group and receiving a (most outrageous) discounted rate was the best decision we could make, especially for a destination wedding in Puerto Rico. We were able to fly the Yeah! team into PR and put them up in hotels, and not worry about having to book unknown talent in PR. I was so confident in our decision, we didn't consider any other photographers, videographers, or DJs, and we didn't even meet the team in person until the very morning of the wedding (with bear hugs, might I add). It could have been a logistical headache, but the team was super easy-going and genuinely just happy to be a part of our wedding weekend. The travel and transportation from LA to PR was seamless.
Our wedding guests and family noticed immediately how talented the Yeah! team was. They were so easy to work with and be around! Our photographer captured real moments, genuine smiles and tears, and understood our vision from the beginning. He immediately picked up on family personalities and made sure everyone felt comfortable at all times. We didn't want anything to feel stiff, we didn't want to take so many portraits, we wanted the energy of the day to feel exactly like what it was - vacation! He is so talented and has done such an incredible job bringing together a team of people who have the same vision as he does.
The photographer and videographer worked so perfectly together. Our vignette video is one of the most beautifully shot and edited wedding videos we've ever seen... unbiased, of course. Our great video guy pre-scouted locations all over the hotel grounds so we could get the best shots and the perfect light. He captured all of the memorable moments, and half the time we didn't even know he was filming us (which is ideal!)
Our DJ’s skills were unparalleled. He is so talented. Before the wedding, we had sent him a list of songs we wanted to hear and a general genre (think... "90's R&B + hints of Beyonce") and the music was perfect! When our guests had to sit down to eat, they almost refused to stop dancing and instead danced and sang in their chairs while their appetizers were being served.
Booking the Yeah! team as a collective almost seems too good to be true. You have a tremendously talented group of people who genuinely love working together and love what they do - they want to create art, they want to create memories with/for you, and they want to have fun doing it."
